Amy is a games industry professional, marketing director, and kiwi living in Sydney, Australia. 

Hello!

By day, I’m currently Director of Marketing at Synty Studios. My areas of specialisation include PR, community, social media, live-streaming, influencer, and events. I have a varied background, having held in roles across start-ups, scale-ups, and global businesses in the games industry, including regional marketing roles at Twitch and leadership roles in global esports production. My marketing approach is curious, audience-obsessed, and results-driven.

In my spare time, I’m currently building buzzbang.co – a boutique marketing service supporting ANZ indie game makers, Pixel Explorers Club – a digital community for curious indie game lovers, and in 2024 I launched Frosty Games Fest, a showcase of games made in Australia and Aotearoa NZ.

An eighties baby and nineties kid at heart, I’m most in my element in the gaming, creative, and technology spaces. I have experience as a video game reviewer, have sat on countless games industry panels, and have a wealth of experience speaking about community, marketing, gaming and esports. I am also an experienced mentor in the tech and games industry and very happy to answer questions or have a chat!
